Darcie Yoshinaga is the director of the University of Hawai‘i Research Support Center (RSC) under the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI).
The RSC is responsible for providing guidance and support to the UH research community, to help reduce administrative burden and streamline decision-making related to general extramural project-related inquiries and issues. RSC also oversees the OVPRI ticketing system for assistance requests, and is the first point of contact for telephone inquiries relating to UH extramural proposals and awards.
Yoshinaga has a Juris Doctor from the UH William S. Richardson School of Law, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from UH Mānoa. She practiced law in the private sector prior to joining UH. She has been involved with UH extramural proposals and awards since 2009.
