The University of Hawai‘i (UH) Research Support Center (RSC) is a center established as a UH System office under the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation. The RSC is responsible for providing resource support to UH principal investigators, project directors, and project staff by serving as the initial point of contact and streamlining decision-making related to general extramural project-related inquiries and issues.

About

The University of Hawai‘i (UH) Research Support Center (RSC) is an office under the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI), established to provide resource support to UH principal investigators, project directors, and project staff. The RSC serves as the initial OVPRI point of contact to assist with streamlining decision-making related to general extramural project-related inquiries and issues, and is intended to reduce administrative burden and encourage continued growth in the UH research community.

The RSC also provides oversight and management of all OVPRI research-related policies and procedures, and assists with the coordination of training within OVPRI offices such as the Office of Research Services, the Office of Research Compliance and the Office of Innovation and Commercialization (OIC) and the OIC Office of Technology Transfer.
