UH Institutional Review Boards – general information
There are three UH Institutional Review Boards (IRB) responsible for the review of human research conducted by UH personnel.
The submission deadlines below pertain to all three UH IRBs; however, each IRB has their own meeting schedule for the year. See the schedules below or download the 2025 Calendar.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Submission deadlines only pertain to submissions that require review by the full board. All other submissions are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
