UH Institutional Review Boards – general information

There are two UH Institutional Review Boards (IRB) responsible for the review of human research conducted by UH personnel.

The submission deadlines below pertain to both UH IRBs; however, each IRB has their own meeting schedule for the year. See the schedules below or download the 2026 Calendar.

*Please note – the Social & Behavioral IRB meeting has been moved to Monday.
